Itinerary, 05 Nights and 06 Days.
Day 01 : – Kochi – Munnar.
Morning Arrival in Koch (Airport), will proceed to Munnar via road. The way is full of wonders like waterfalls and natural scenic spots to keep you busy. On arrival, check-in resort / hotel. Explore the peaks, the tea plantations, and the beautiful moderate climate that overwhelms the tourists.
Post lunch; explore the Echo Point, Mattupetty Lake & Dam followed by a hearty meal. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 02 : – Munnar sightseeing.
Wake up to the hearty breakfast in the morning and start with the sightseeing in Munnar where you can cover the Eravikulam National Park, the home of Nilgiri Thar, followed by the Anamudi Peak that is elevated at a height of 2695 m above the water level. Have lunch and explore the further areas, then return to the hotel and stay overnight after having dinner.
Day 3 : Munnar – Thekkady.
Third day of your tour that will start with a drive to Thekkady!. On arrival, check-in to Resort / Hotel then spend the day to explore Thekkady, which is one of the world’s most beautiful wildlife reserves spread in 777 square km area. 360 square km is evergreen forest range. You will also enjoy boating at Periyar Lake and visit to Spice Plantation along with Elephant Ride. Kathakali or Kalaripayattu (Kerala Martial art) shows are also available in Thekkady on a paid optional activity. Overnight stay will be in hotel in Thekkady.
Day 04 : Thekkady – Alleppey Backwater.
After an early breakfast, will be driving to Alleppey Backwater that is popularly renowned as the Venice of the East. Check-in the pre-booked hotel and relax for some time. Post this; you can enjoy the resort in-house activities. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 05 Backwater Resort – Houseboat.
Soon after finishing breakfast, you will be going to check-in point of an enchanting overnight backwater cruise – a decorated houseboat. This floating boathouse like a luxury villa will let your eyes settle for the swaying coconut grooves. On board food, facilities offered. You will get overnight stay in houseboat.
Day 06 Alleppey to Kochi.
After breakfast, check out from Houseboat, proceeds to Kochi for your departure travel from Railway station.
On arrival Cochin, do a short sightseeing of Kochi where you can visit Fort Kochi and Mattanchery. The major tourists attractions includes St. Francis Church, Vasco House, Santa Cruz Basilica Chinese fishing nets, beach walkway in Fort Kochi and Jewish Synagogue, Palace and Jew town of Mattanchery. If time permits, visit Marine Drive. It is a popular hangout place, which is facing the backwater. Then proceed to railway station catch the late evening train.
